Sadly, the people making up the school programs/workbooks/etc are companies/contractors hired to provide this junk. This is NOTHING.

Well I just asked my granddaughter who is in kindergarten, she was tapping her foot reading the paper but did not know the rabbit answer, but tapping is a thing. Who knew.

sticking with the T theme, i dont find this a TRAVESTY if the teacher reminds the students that the T sound may not necessarily come at the beginning of the word. it will just make them think a bit harder......and we already came up with at least two words that have a T that fit that picture.....maybe there are more?

True story: Years ago I decided to take a preliminary test for MENSA. One of the questions was (I kid you not): "If snow is white, what color are holly berries?"

I thought "WTH???" I went with the obvious: red. And guess what? It was the correct answer! To this day I have no idea what on earth they were thinking about. I passed the preliminary test and declined the invitation to take the full one for admission to MENSA. (And I don't mean to offend anyone in MENSA; I worked with a great colleague who was a member. But...really???)

Okay...I just looked at the "correct" answer Wildcat Fan posted and I think it's absurd.

It would require a leap in thinking that I would never expect from a kindergartner. And people get paid good money to think up these ridiculous things?

The directions should say that. When there are 3 pictures (out of 4) clearly with T as the beginning letter, the last word probably should be the same. Also, there is no vet in the last picture, just animals (would be pets).
