Re: Do You Interfere with Mother Nature?

I've got to run to the pet store. Don't be too bad.

Flies, ants, and wasps are a goner. The rest are left alone. Most anything else is welcome.

I did have an infestation of Norway Rats last summer after a neighbor did some digging for new patio. Those had to go...Sulfur Bombs.

I had a rat years ago that decided to move in when a house was built up the road. A huge woods rat. He would jump at me when I was working in the flower beds. I'm a good shot.Wink

Interesting.

I don't like lizards in the house either. I don't want them anywhere near me. Fortunately one of my grey tabbies takes care of the problem for me after having fun with it for awhile.

The bunnies here are very well behaved. There was one that would come out and set by me while I did my gardening. The only thing she ever bothered was my impatiens. She pruned the top and they were beautiful that year.

That's pretty much my philosophy, too.

A couple of weeks ago, I walked out on the deck, 11pm or so. I had just stepped off of the deck onto the carport and heard leaves rustling by the koi pond.(the pond is right at the carport) I turned and in the moonlight, I could see something pretty big. I took off for the door, grabbed the storm door handle and yanked it open...knowing what ever was there, was right behind me.{#emotions_dlg.crying} I hit that door and jumped inside. DH asked what is wrong with you. When I told him, he asked if it got me. Told him no. He asked where all of the blood was coming from. My hand was covered in blood. the door had blood all over it. I guess when I grabbed for the main door, I hit my finger on the storm door latch.{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

See, I try to avoid them, too!!{#emotions_dlg.lol}

I've even sliced up toads and snakes in my Toro Recycler lawn mower. If you ever baled hay, you might recall finding snakes, gophers and baby birds in various stages of decay within the bales.
