Guess it is time to really reconsider my purchases.  Loyal long time customers get very little from QVC

That's a pretty poor incentive for existing customers. Really poor!

I don' need or want a Q card, so this old timer is out of luck.

I think the new customers that get free shipping are going to be surprised if they have to return something. Especially if they are used to retailers that cover return shipping.Which the majority do.

A lot of these customers will not connect the dots and realize they are responsible for returns. That can be expensive too.

I would also like to know how many orders new customers actually place. After they find out how long shipping takes and if their orders change to advanced order or backorder because QVC doesn't have the stock they think they do.

Lol.   Oh, yeah.  It's been discussed.  Many are not happy about it.

Looking ahead, unless the schedule changes, there is just one TSV I may be interested in , the Denim & Co.   Depends on what it is.  This whole thing about 3 and a half months free shipping for new customers has changed me, like a light went on in my head, finally.  I got so used to buying from QVC for so long.  I worked for many years, up at 4:30 am, out the door by 5:30 am, and home after 5:15 pm.   So tired all of the time.  And on the weekends, all I wanted to do was stay home with my husband, son, and cats. The convenience of QVC shopping   became a habit, a compulsion in a way.  I became familiar with the brands, my q card saved in the system, just click and buy.  Didn't want to leave my family to drive to a shopping center or mall on weekends because I spent so little time at home on weekdays.  So free shipping on tsv's for a couple of weeks...big whoop.  I'm retired now, but old habits die hard.   My mind is made up to explore other ways/places of shopping.

If I remember right, many of the TSV offer free shipping anyway. So I don't see this as such a super deal for us.
