I'm CST in Illinois. Dark in the morn then dark in the afternoon.
I don't understand WHY this persists other than energy companies making more.

Re: Daylight Savings Time

[ Edited ]

Every time the subject comes up I say the same thing. I prefer fall, winter and spring to summer, and I really, really, really wish they'd pick a time, preferably standard time, and stick with it. All this setting and resetting of clocks and body rhythms is annoying and just flat out stupid.

Don't forget to change batteries that you change when this goes on, if you do.

This is when DLST ends. (kind of like end of the year) So, regular time?

Next Mar 10 DLST begins, then ends Nov 3

So 4 mos. for one, and 8 mos. for the other.

When we aren't on DLST, it's the cold, bleak' wintry months for us.

I HATE the time changes. Choose one way or the other. Smiley Sad

We are going back to Standard Time Saturday night so it is shorter days not longer.

Me too!

Also, people get so confused about this. As you said, we are ending Daylight Saving time and beginning Standard time.

“…nevertheless, she persisted.”
