We have family who have met/married their partner from dating sites.  One was in his 50s, one was in his 20s and my son met his fiancee on a dating site!

 

I personally don't believe I would use one but I am very happy to hear of people's successes!

My neighbor was on Match for several years -- then switched to eHarmony 16 years ago. Immediately, she was matched with a man who only lived 35 minutes away. She was 60 yrs old and he was 62. She was a teacher and he was an attorney. Both retired and now they've been married for 15 years. Both had very bad long marriages prior. They matched 95%. Meeting anyone could be scary --- even thru introductions could be scary. They met at Starbucks - and they both knew immediately. You have to take a chance - there are so few ways to meet people - especially when ur older.
