HSN has a TS today of a darling apartment-size electric fireplace made of wood.  Several people here have been looking for a small one.  It's about $100.

Thank you for giving the alert about the fire place on HSN. I think I would like one in kitchen sine it is so large and every one always seems to gather in here no matter how nice and cozy the living room, dining room or family room are they all seem to get back in to my kitchen and flop into a chair and not move to another room.

Wow I love the look of that better than our Duraflames. I might get one! Thank you for posting. I never would have known as I only shopped HSN once. Maybe I should start checking it out more! lol..

I guess that I am replying to my own post after seeing the presentation of the fire place I think it way to small I thought when they were showing it that it was larger,

Re: Darling Fireplace

Funny because I looked at it this morning and wondered what in the heck you would do with that thing?  LOL

It doesn't look much bigger than a toaster.

It's so tiny!

One review says she prefers this over the ones with the temperature on the front because real fireplaces don't have the temperature. Real fireplaces are also larger than a boot box and anyone is going to notice that before a temperature readout.

It is darling and I like the flame effect. This must be much lighter than some of the larger ones, so that's nice for portability.

You are so right....my kitchen isn't that big, living room dining room family rooms are huge.  But everyone squeezes into the kitchen.  Cheery fireplace roaring in family room...still the kitchen.

I would not call that thing a fireplace! It's a teeny tiny heater with a fake flame in it.

It is very cute, but tiny. I think it would be best for someone in a very small apartment(elderly) or maybe a small bedroom that needs extra heat, but for a Family Room or Kitchen-way too small.......

Very true, I certainly wouldn't recommend it.
