Hello my Friends! Hope you all are having a great 4th of July! We celebrated last night so today we just stayed home, and my DH stained some cupboards the garage and I baked bread. Praying for Felicia - that her stay in the hospital will be very healing, and that she can have fast recovery and return to us again soon - for Bobbiesue - please dear, may God direct you to the right decision and may God be with you all the way - along with St. Therese, the Little Flower! And don't forget Mary's intercession, our Heavenly Mother!!

Often times, life is what happens when you're busy making plans.

Lord, help me to notice each moment and not rush through it.

Scripture for the day:

"Jesus straightened up and said to the woman caught in adultery,

'Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?' She said, 'No one,

sir.' And Jesus said, 'Neither do I condemn you. Go your way, and

Meditation for the day:

I can live one day at a time. I can make each day

one of preparation for better things ahead. I need not dwell on the

past or the future, only on the present. I can bury every fear of the

future, all thoughts of unkindness and bitterness, all my dislikes, my

resentments, my sense of failure, my disappointments in others and in

myself, my gloom and my despondency. I can leave all these things

buried and go forward, into

a new life!

Prayer for the day:

I pray that God will guide me one day at a time. I

pray that for each day, God will supply the wisdom and the strength I

need.

Lord God, omnipotent Father, creator of all things, you gave me a body and a

soul, and created me in your image before time was. O Lord, my God, I

confess my offences to you; I have sinned before you and before your angels,

In our scheme of things, survival of the fittest is the rule. In God's

scheme, survival of the weakest is the rule. God always stands on the side

of the weak, and it is there - among the weak - that we find God!

Our Father…Who always stands with the weak, the powerless, the poor, the

abandoned. This is the insight of the saints.Who art in heaven…

So that each person in the world may have clean air, pure water, enough

food, health care, access to education, and so have the basis of a healthy

life.And forgive us our trespasses…

Forgive us our blindness towards our neighbour, our obsessive

pre-occupation, our racism. Forgive us our capacity to watch the evening

news and do nothing about it.As we forgive those who trespass…

Help us to forgive those who victimize us. Help us to mellow our spirit, to

not grow bitter with age, to forgive the imperfect parents, the family or

the community that wounded us.And do not put us to the test…

Do not judge only by whether we have fed the hungry, given clothes to the

naked, visited the sick, or tried to mend the systems that victimized the

poor. Spare us this test, for none of us can stand before this gospel

scrutiny. Give us instead more days to mend our ways, our selfishness and

our systems.But deliver us from evil…

Deliver us from the blindness that lets us continue to participate in

anonymous systems within which we need not see who gets less as we get

more.Amen.

Stop trying to please others - it doesn't work.

Prayer for the Salvation of the World

Father, hear our prayers for the salvation of the world. Grant Mercy to all

souls that turned away from you. Open their hearts and minds with Your

light.

Gather your children from the east and the west, from the north and the

south. Have mercy O God on those who do not know You. Bring them out of

darkness into your light. You are our saving God who leads us in our

salvation. Protect us from evil.

Bless and praise You O Lord, hear our prayers and answer us. You, our

Savior, are the hope of all the ends of the Earth and the distant seas. May

Your way be known upon Earth; among all nations Your salvation.

We put the world in Your hands; fill us with Your love. Grant us peace

through Christ, our Lord.

MOTHER'S PRAYER TO THE GUARDIAN ANGEL OF HER CHILDREN

I humbly salute you, O you faithful, heavenly Friends of my children! I give

you heartfelt thanks for all the love and goodness you show them. At some

future day I shall, with thanks more worthy than I can now give, repay your

care for them, and before the whole heavenly court acknowledge their

indebtedness to your guidance and protection. Continue to watch over them.

Provide for all their needs of body and soul. Pray, likewise, for me, for my

husband, and my whole family, that we may all one day rejoice in your

blessed company. Amen.
