Three Dooney bags, that is.

I need to get all of my shopping done before I get married. Future hubby might not like my spending habits. Smiley Happy

I had a lot of money in the bank when I got married, and went on a little "spree" right beforehand. We never fight about money, but I handle the bills and checkbook. Smiley Wink Smiley Wink He just asks me how much we have when he wants to buy something. Lol!

3 Dooney bags is hardly extravagant for someone your age.

Has your fiance bought you a handbag as a gift?

I guess it depends on your environment. I don't live in a high-income area. Many people around here don't even know what Dooney & Bourke is.

I say...buy what you like and what suits your budget. Whether you are married, or not...engaged or not...or expect to remain single for the rest of your life.

I splurged on some fashion items before I got married...and some after I got married. Why should your marital status matter?

Because men have other things they splurge on. Maybe not handbags, but other things that might not be around as long as a handbag or other fashion purchase.

(can I say wood chipper, rototiller, chain saw, other power tool...etc? many of these super pricey items have been used only once or twice.)
