As for the judges favoring Bindi, she is the best dancer.  I do not believe for one minute a novice with no dance experience would be better than entertainers week after week. She looks like a pro in almost all her numbers. I think she trained extensively for the competition.

I think all season the judges way overscored her.  That week when she did the Dirty Dancing dance there were several errors, including the very-obviously-wobbly lift.  That did not deserve a perfect score, just for one example, and there were a couple before that. I think they've scored her several times higher than she deserved.

I think Alek will go next.  I do not think TPTB have to nerve to send Tamar packing.  I think the finalists will be Bindi, Tamar and Nick.  If this is true, I will be cheering for Nick.

For some illogical reason, I just do not like Bindi.  Tamar makes it very easy to dislike her.

I really believe that the viewer's votes combined with the judge's scores are what determines who will go home--just like they say.

Nonsense. All three judges chose the couple competing against Bindi and Derek to win the dance off.

The judges are rooting for everyone. Honestly, I just don't understand all the shade thrown at Bindi, or Derek for that matter. He's an amazing choreographer who brings out only the best in his partners, even if they have never danced before in their lives. Bindi is just like her father, enthusiastic about life in general and its wonder. Very few teens exhibit the kind of enthusiasm and determination in all she endeavors, and she does it with a smile on her face and love in her heart.

Bindi's enthusiasm and determination is part of her job.  I just read her bio; she's a good will/tourism ambassador, an actress, a singer, a presenter, and a host.  She's had her own show, appeared in movies and on TV shows, has made an album as well as a fitness video, and who knows what else.

I'd probably be smiling too if I traveled all over the world instead of sitting in a classroom like most 17 years olds contemplating their future.

Since you quoted my post, I will respond. I'm not "throwing shade at Bindi" and I never mentioned Derek.  I did see a couple of obvious errors in the Dirty Dancing dance so I didn't think it deserved a perfect score from all the judges and thought "what's up with that?"  Both I and others thought even before that she got higher scores than she deserved.

Derek is a great choreographer - genius - the best on the show.  That has nothing whatsoever to do with my thinking the judges were scoring her too high several times.
