at the pool with my littlest grandson, he saw something dark behind him and asked his mom what is that?!

She said, that's your shadow.

And he stood up tall with his arms thrown to the sky and said "MY Shadow!!" just like Peter Pan! Sooo cute! He's 3.

I was a gymnast, (vault and unevens) a swimmer (butterfly), diver -high dive (and I can't imagine doing that now), a lifeguard, and played the trumpet for 40 years. I used to paint-water color and acrylic.

My career that I loved was teaching autistic, emotionally disturbed and mentally challenged children. 

It is really a lucky joy to be able to do what you love as a job!

Now, I like to in "love the one your with"-my children and grandchildren and friends.

If there is a dog out for a walk, I ask if I can make friends

And taking lovely long winter's naps! especially in the summer!

And going to the pool.

I wish we lived closer to the beach where I spent every summer growing up. I love the ocean so much!

So happy I learned to knit decades ago.  While I don't do anything fancy, I find it very relaxing and I donate the items to a couple of churches.  It also helps to keep me sane--LOL!!

I was a black-belt in Karate back in the day, and could break 3 boards of wood at a time with my feet and hands.

I love horseback riding and can walk, trot, canter, jump, and gallop. My fav horse Bucky has thrown  me a couple of times but I get right back up. He's a beautiful horse too, with a blue eye and a brown eye.

I can sew - and I give thanks for that skill every time I see someone complaining that they can't buy something because it's too long.  At 5'2" I've saved a lot of money on alterations

You title made me think of Napoleon Dynomite, lol. Oh, how he wanted skills.  Lol.  Like num-chukking skills, bow hunting skills, etc....he wanted skills to get girls.
