@WORKING GAL  Be glad you don't have spectrum who bought out timewarner. I hate tm but I detest spectrum.  All they do is raise the rates and take channels away. You never get notice that they're taking away channels. No sooner do I think I'm going to watch something, I find I no longer have it.

 

Spectrum is the ABSOLUTE worst company ever.

Already did that...as the other poster mentioned when they called to complain...falls on deaf ears.

 

I'm sure the OP just wanted to discuss whether it was affecting others, which it is.   It is helpful to know if it is an issue others are having or if it is just your TV.

 

Clearly, we know we can't accomplish any corrections on this forum.

happen to me too, i have tried to make the font bigger so far no luck,does anyone know how to change the font on direct t.v.just when I get the learning down they change it,not happy.Tucka.

It does help to complain here as we can see that there are other Directv viewers with the same issue.  Spoke to a Customer Service rep a few months ago and was told that the new menu is being rolled out across the US and not all at one time.  Perhaps that has been done.  Anyway, I mentioned the not so great menu change and hope that Directv does an upgrade soon.

Update: 4/20/18 - The latest update I have for everyone is that it looks like the first improvements will begin rolling out as early as later next week.  The first changes will be increasing the font size, as well as changing the font color and contrast.  Please note this is only the first update, so there is more to come.  Also, as with any major update, times and dates are subject to change.  However, I promised I would share information as soon as I had it, so I wanted to let you all know.  Please keep the feedback coming - Tim, AT&T Community Strategy

Thank you so much for the feedback regarding our menu updates and UI changes.  I have been monitoring this thread for several months and have been in communication with our design teams.  I want to assure you that we are listening, and have been working very hard to address all the concerns that were brought up on this thread.  As you are probably aware, fixes and improvements can take time to implement due to testing and other factors.  With all that said, here is what I can share.

 

Updates being worked on:

  • Visual Concerns - Font color, size, and background
  • Navigation - Taking additional steps to get to the same selections as before the change
  • Responsiveness - Improve delay (lag) when moving between menu options, changing channels, and other functions
