My husband is semi-retired.

Just when I think he's going to retire completely (he's retired from 3 companies already), he thinks he's being offered another job.  And this will include a move to So Cal.  Ugh!!!

I can handle a year or two, maybe three.  But after that I'm grounding him!

Sounds perfect.  DH and I have picked out our retirement dates too.  He's older than me, but wants to work 18 months longer than me.

@sissel  Your life sounds wonderful.....I plan to do the same....enjoy time together....no more busy schedules......take life as it comes and really get to KNOW one another again, like when we first met. Life gets in the way for all those crazy first years.....

Enjoy it. My dad's last day is June 30th. Because of my surgery and other things going on he only has like 10 working days. You worked hard so have fun.

@SeaMaiden, congratulations to both of you.  Retirement was one of the best things that has ever happened to me/us.  We are very active still and just love living on our own schedule.

I hope you and your DH have many happy years in retirement together.  You have earned your time!  LM
