Re: DEER Thursday 08/05/2021

MamaWick,

Many of us have grown to love Cricket from afar.  Do know that I, for one, know that you and PapaWick have given Cricket the most loving care.  No one could have given her more love and attention than the two of you.

I hope she has many more days with you.  She is in my thoughts and my heart.  Bless her.

Oh Gosh @MamaWick.  My heart's breaking for the 3 of you & am sending you all (((comfort hugs.)))  Sweet Cricket's been fighting the good fight as best she can .. of course with her loving Mom/Dad's support.  I do love seeing her photos every time you post them.  In today's photo, she looks very peaceful.  To me, that's a sign of contentment with all the love & care you've given her.  Good luck tomorrow with whichever decision is made.  It's difficult but I know you'll do what's best.  Take care.  Heart

Love the deer photo, so peaceful esp. with the doe resting.  Thanks so much.

@MamaWick - I can't be with you in person tomorrow for Cricket's vet appt, but I will be there in spirit. Wishing you, PapaWick & Cricket a good report. She looks so cozy all curled up.

Great shot of the deer in the tall grass. The doe just looks comfy.

@MamaWick,

I was reading this in another thread from someone who wondered if anyone had an elderly cat who had no appetite-but also those who used it with their elderly dog.I thought maybe it could help?

@GoneButNotForgotten I would encourage you to buy some Fortiflora by Pro Plan. It is probiotics powder packets that you sprinkle on their food. Cats LOVE it and it helps their appetite; they will eat whatever u put it on. My vet vouched that this particular brand had great scientific studies backing its claims. I get it at Chewy dot com. I have never checked Amazon, but you might be able to get it there, too. It is important to get this brand. It is well worth every cent that it cost. I promise it will help your kitty's appetite.

My vet sold Fortiflora in his office. We used it for our picky eater little male dog. It is a very good product.
