The antler broke off a few days ago.  He was left with a bloody stump that looks much better now.  I call him Uno.

I'm thinking Im pretty sure antlers don't bend either do they?!🤷🏼‍♀️ but wtheck happened to the one we just saw lol!

Anyway, I hope Uno will be ok and thanks @MamaWick, for the explanation.

Antlers are interesting.  If you were viewing my posts from last year, I had a buck whose right antler curved (looking a lot like the @ sign) and was dangerously close to his eye.  Antlers also can break, which is apparently what happened to Uno.  My guess is this happened when he was rubbing the velvet off.  They can break in fights with other bucks.

EDIT:   Next season, Uno will have both antlers grow back.
