@candyagain Imagine this cute momma living in our attic for months...spouse thought I was crazy!

Imagine how crazy I was when we became official raccoon grandparents and the thousands of  dollars to get rid of them and repair the damages🤬🤬 I'm always on alert checking everyday a "nightmare" I don't want ever again.

Love seeing the gang enjoying their food and drink and then some relaxing in the grass.  I appreciate all wild life and thank nature for giving us these gentle creatures who thankfully have people, like the Wick's, who provide for them. Giving them a safe haven and food shows me their goodness and concern for these deer.  Bless the Wick's and those who do the same.

I know your pain! I went to check my basement fuse box and saw the babies. Oh no! So I also know that creepy sensation of having critters in your home. Glad you were able to get them out. They came in under the old deck, dry rot I couldn't see.

The attic residency was through soffet vents which were removed when a newer style roof replaced that ventilation system.

I would never hurt any animal intentionally. Construction and wildlife removers got the squirrels out of my home. I trapped the chipmunks myself with heavy duty gloves, plastic containers and a flip-top garbge can. Released them outside but was told that unless I took them 5 to 10 miles away, they'd be back trying to get in.

So the real solution was when the chipmunk population disappeared as wildlife predators moved in.

The squirrels are still trying to come back in.....they're not cute to me. Expensive reconstruction $$$$$! So, no, I'm not a fan of those critters!

Interesting how personal experience informs our likes and dislikes.  I guess it will always be that way.  So, you agree with my husband that squirrels and chipmunks gotta go.  I like them.  Of course, I like hawks and coyotes too.

They are all okay, outside of my home! Inside though, I have to say I'm not a fan.
