@elated wrote:There is a YouTube video called "Dddavid" with Nick Reiner.. It is very very strange. His behavior is odd to say the least.
Bill Hader who was at Conan's party said Nick was acting very weird. He was asking people "What is your first name?" What is your last name?" What do you do?" Bill asked him to leave him alone as he was having a private conversation. So many red flags as to his mental state.
Coroner came out with report today and stated they were stabbed to death. How sick do you have to be to kill your parents in such a brutal manner. It is just beyond my comprehension to take your parents' lives.
@elated, "savegley" stabbed.
I wondered about this. It made me think of hatefully killed like the Menendez bros.
There's killing and then there's savegely killing.

The most recent info I have seen indicates Nick blamed all of his problems on being born into a family where it was impossible to be as successful as his father and grandfather...so why even try, just be a nothing....he justified his drug addiction by trying to blcok out being born into such an high achieving family. Seems this resentment continued to grow for decades and he decided to put an end to it. Sad part is that he is still the disturbed individual he always has been for years, and no one wins in this tragic event. It;s all so very sad.
I read that the first task is to removed the death penalty, which won't be difficult given his very public display of mental illness over the years; followed by exhaustive psch exams that could last for as long as either side wants to drag them out. I am so hearbroken for the surviving brother and sister of Nick. I pray for them daily now.

I just read that Nick had started taking a new drug for schizophrenia and had been acting strangely. Yikes.

Re: schizophrenia, it's likely that Nick was born with a different neurodivergent condition and it may not have been correctly diagnosed and treated when he was very young.
Many people are born with faulty wiring and unfortunately some become addicted to drugs trying to ease their suffering, which can then contribute to the emergence of other wiring disorders like schizophrenia.
But although it is often highly manageable, it is not 100% treatable and relapses can occur at any time. :/
