Re: Customer Service difference.

Last Friday I ordered a pair of lamps from Wayfair.  Free shipping and was promised delivery the following Tuesday.  Imagine my surprise when they were delivered on Saturday, the very next day!

Re: Customer Service difference.

I only use Amazon occasionally and do not have Prime.  My orders usually take as long as QVC’s to arrive.  Unless they come directly from the vendor, then I can get them sooner.

I ordered a candle from the Q on 1/10/18.

It still says "Arrival Scan Horsham PA 1/12/18".

Today is the 23rd.

Today is the 24th & STILL waiting. QVC is in PA, I am in NY (though I realize some items are shipped from other warehouses).

I just e-mailed CS, I'm done waiting. 2 weeks is enough.

Re: Customer Service difference.

Here is what I'd like to see (and yes I know it is probably way too much to ask).

I like the presentations that Q provides. I get to see the product in action, get a person explaining the benefits, the details the functions, and see it in as close to "in person" as one can get. Combine that with the fast and free shipping that most orders from Amazon get and you have a winner.

I don't like to buy many things from other online retailers because you get a couple of lousy pictures, a description that may or may not be right, and no real sense of all the features of the item. If it is a product I already am familiar with, that is OK, but if not, I feel like I'm taking a big chance, hoping it is what I need.

Now tell me, in this day and age, a business can't combine the two.....great, in depth presentations, fast and free shipping and great customer service for returns.

In my opinion, no major retailer combines it all, and when someone finally does, they will rock.

Re: Customer Service difference.

I think if they are goiing to be so slow in shipping the item out, they should also give you more time to cancel if you change your mind before the item actually says "shipped". I ordered an item last night and 20 minutes later changed my mind and tried to cancel it. It said " in the process of shipping and cannot be cancelled".

@ChiliPepper, I think your item may be lost. Did this ship UPS? If so have you contacted them? I had an order stuck in Horsham since last Friday. I am in Philly so usually when an item gets to Horsham it is delivered to me the same day or the next day. I called UPS yesterday and was told the item is lost. If I were you I would call QVC and have them send you another candle.

Re: Customer Service difference.

@Imaoldhippie  Well, I am complaining about how long it takes to ship your goods.  However, QVC is actually excellent about refunds (fast service).  I waited over 3 weeks for returning an item to Nordstrom that I almost forgot I returned it but I did have a receipt.  Cat Tongue

Re: Customer Service difference.

We pay for these 24 hours of QVC programming, we also pay when they ship and  we return something. It's hard for me to believe the Q is not making money hand over fist. I am trying to buy locally if indeed I do need something. It should not be that aggravating to shop with the Q.

@DJs mom

It says "Delivery: UPS - delivery by US Mail" 1/12/18.

Yep, you're probably right - lost.

Bummer, there aren't any more.
