I wasn't interested until I flicked on and saw the TS.

Ok, have never owned electric skillet (and don't recall my mother using one) so what does one use this for besides pot roasts ?  Is it used in place of frypans on stoves?

It looks nice.  I do own his dura pans used on stovetop/oven.

Thank you

just to name a  few......

If you have a stove and a skillet why would you need this? Just seems like it would take up a lot of room and would be a redundant applicance to have.

@sunshine45

thank you for the suggestions.  I wouldn't use it but sure looks like a good deal.

 Plus, its great for entertaining and I don't do much anymore.  Cooking only for 2 and sometimes not cooking at all!

Re: Curtis Stone HSN TSV Pre Sale

I bought one in red. I have very old T-Fal pans that were my grandmom's, she bought them off QVC when they were first introduced. They are still nice to cook in but I do need a new pan and I like the idea of not having to use the stove sometimes and that's it portable. I make a lot of chicken along with stir fry and tacos and this will be great for it.

Another electric appliance.  Where does everybody keep all this stuff?  We have a medium sized kitchen and it's full, along with the closet in the laundry room and some shelves in the garage.

i keep mine on shelves inside our garage.

they are put into a clear garbage bag or leaf bag so i can easily see them when needed and they stay relatively dust free.

i am probably going to be in trouble with this TS. lol

this is perfect for casseroles, stews and comes in handy when you dont want to use the oven or stove. it just creates less heat. i get a lot of use out of these during the holidays also.

@sunshine45, I ordered one.  I can use it at home and I think it will be great for camping.  I can put it on a table outside and plug it into our camper.  Then I can keep an eye on it outside and I'm not using the stove and heating up the camper.
