I confess I hate dealing with curtains. I love the way they look, but everything else, meh ! I’ve  had these really cute kitchen  curtains for months, and this morning I decided to bite the bullet.  I won’t go into what’s pita it was, and they look very nice, but now I’m dreading taking down my living room curtains. What job do you put off for too long ?  I will add that my Little Giant step ladder helped , but that sucker is heavy !

Mission accomplished, I hope they bring you much joy. Good luck with the livingroom project.

The important thing is they are up and you get to enjoy them.  I don't like curtains partly for the hanging but mostly for the aesthetics.  I'm in a modern condo and I love light now.  My mother would have a fit if she saw my house...LOL  I have valances up over the blinds in my kitchen and dining room.  I wanted a touch of pretty and color but I didn't want curtains.  I just have the blinds up in the living room.  It's a long window, I put VPH goblets in the middle and plants on either side.  I'd like a valance.  When I get around to looking.

@QVCkitty1: You and me both! I've never like hanging curtains. I think it stems from my childhood Smiley Tongue Because I was the oldest and tallest child in the family, my mother always drafted me to hang the curtains and shades. Such an exhausting task!  I'm staring at two windows right now that need curtains. Maybe your post will inspire me to get the job done! Smiley Happy

I don't mind handing curtains or shades.  I hate cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes...a task that needs to be done several times a day.

I was responsible for kitchen clean-up at home when I was a pre-teen until I got married.

I enjoy changing curtains each season. For my living room,

I have many sets with grommets, make it quick and easy to

change. For my kitchen I am going to put up my butterfly

pair this week. Looks so cute.

Yes, the hardest part is going up on a chair or small ladder.

Be careful.

I dread that job and I wish I could like windows without curtains.  I've tried and it didn't work for me, I don't like the bare look.

I hate dealing with curtains. We had the kind you wash iron and put back up not the dry cleaning kind.  As a teen and an adult I was ironing while mumbling under my breath. Then there was also  my nemesis the Battenburg Tablecloth. 🤣

I've never thought of changing curtains by the season, but it could make quite an impact.
