@suzyQ3

oh my I hope they are all better real soon.

I don't take it lightly but my boys are pretty "overprotective" with us since at this time there is no way they can come here!  They even worried before this what would I do if something happened to spouse or me...do they think I don't have a "plan"!🤷‍♀️😉

I know this is a terrible serious situation but at some point the kids need to "give us some credit for common sense"...then again, my cousins & I joke "hmmmm we raised them?".

Please give get well wishes to your family and 🙏🏻🙏🏻

You are not alone with adult children becoming very opinionated about how we are handling this situation.  One of my sons loudly convinced his father that he had no business continuing to play a popular racquet sport.  I was thankful for the help on that front.  @homedecor1

What are your thoughts about visiting a cemetery to place Easter flowers?

Your thought is beautiful, but may I share with you our family custom of Flowers for Memorial Day?

Then you will be erring on the safe side, and we can decorate (in Spirit) together!

Stay Safe.

@violann

I went to the cemetery today.  It was apparent, a lot of people visited over the weekend as there were a lot of palm crosses. (it is a Catholic cemetery)

In the fall I plant several pots with a variety of spring bulbs.  I took 2 that are just beginning to bloom, so blooms should last a good 2 weeks.

I do Memorial Day too.

Stay healthy.

I have a friend whose husband is a truck driver. His area is Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina.  I spoke to her on Saturday and asked about whether or not they are stopping people from crossing state lines. He said so far he hasn't seen anything like that.  He was home for the weekend and headed out this morning. He's usually home about two days each week.

I heard on a Live PD Special tonight that some states may consider clamping down on sales of alcohol to prevent domestic violence.

@katiemichelle Oklahoma just made it legal to DELIVER booze from the liquor store!  Like food and medicine.  But we just made pot legal, so that's Oklahoma!  From Bible Belt to anything goes in a year.

Wow!  Oklahoma - pot legal!  I did not know that!!

I read a report just now from a Louisiana news site that La. Governor was told by our Governor Abbott here in Texas that every 5th car would be stopped and checked by Texas officers.

My family is only over in an adjoining county but I will be spending Easter at home alone.

I am so sorry @beckyb1012 .  I'll be spending Easter and a big birthday all by myself next week too so if you want to party online, I'm here.  🥰
