Does anyone know if they are actually stopping people from crossing state lines?

We've started to hear GA and TN are making cars turn around.   Friends of the family had their kids stopped and refused entry while they were trying to get into GA to stay permanently with their mom.  They have a packed car and nowhere to go.

My BIL said the delivery guys are seeing guards as well at the TN line.  Anyone know if that's actually true?

That is absolutely not true.

I'm in New England.  All small states where people often

Iive in one state and work in another.  Or have family in more than one state.

I've only heard that Rhodes Island was stopping people with New York state plates, and asking them to quarantine.

One of our governors blocaded a bridge between us once back pre-1920 or so I think!  Woman Embarassed

I grew up in a tri-state area too so it was kind of not making sense to me feasibility wise but with the current top dogs in GA and FL I thought it wouldn't surprise me.  Thanks all!

@Laura14 - I am actually concerned about that. My sister said today that she and her husband are driving up to Washington DC the week after Easter, to help my nephew move temporarily back to Atlanta. Day trip up there so no hotel involved, but I said to her "are you sure about that?"

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@gidgetgh My mother wants to come up from FL to GA for family birthdays next week and they don't want to get stopped halfway either.  It's a mess!

People need to STAY HOME. Good grief.
Maybe if people would do what they’re supposed to do we will be out of quarantine and isolation before 2025. 😡🙄

If people in this country want to see this crisis end ALL non-essential travel should be banned.  That's driving across state lines, flying, and who are the idiots still going on cruises?

Wear a mask. Social distance. Be part of the solution - not part of the problem.

I don't know about any restrictions, but I do wish that unless it's absolutely essential, people not travel right now. I also agree with Dr. Fauci that we should be on a national lockdown.
