crock pot/slow cooker. would not be without one.

i have no need really to make "insta anything." i prefer low and slow either in the crockpot, on the stove, or in the oven.

@ProudMa  I use my slow cooker much more than my IP.  I found that when I did a beef recipe, such as stew, in the IP, it did not taste as good as in my slow cooker. No idea why, but it was decidedly not as good.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@sunshine45   Agree.  I've had my slow cooker for years.

Some people really like their Insta-Pots but since it's just DH and I there is no need for an instant dinner.

Plus nothing like the smell of a slow cooking stew or meatballs in sauce!

I never was much of a slow cooker fan, but I love my Instant Pot ~ so versatile.

There was a post like this last week and most said they preferred the Instapot. Now this one is going the other way. I love my crockpot and don't have an Instapot.

Have both - slow cooker  for me------- slow and steady so spices mellow together over time.  IP is like a fire engine - get it done and go.
