I was hoping Working Gal would have an update on this situation today. Hopefully she talked to someone at her bank today.

@jannabelle1 I wonder if the OP realized that the Card she received was a replacement Card for one that was about to expire? Hope that was it.

Or maybe the problem has not been solved yet.

We have the same credit freeze. We have a debit card and a credit card and need no other cards, and we haven't applied for a loan in 55 years, so the freeze is an excellent protection for us.

I get so tired of these type of posts where someone has an issue, asks for advice, then doesn't have the courtesy to come back and give an update. She's posted on other threads in the days since but not here.

Call me old fashioned but I think it's just rude. @WORKING GAL

I'm thinking it was a legit replaced debit card by her bank and now she's embarrassed to say she was wrong. It happens @WORKING GAL and nothing wrong with stating it.

I wondered that too. I have a Visa branded debit card with my credit union. Maybe her bank switched to something similar.
