I saw this crazy wasp nest hanging over a road a few weeks ago, at least it appears to be a wasp nest as looks like that paper-y stuff they make.  I was able to snag a pic today when I was out.  Hope that thing doesn't decide to drop on anyone's car!  Yikes!  😬

@LdyBugz    Driving that road is like playing Russian Roulette.  At least this time of year most places, everyone's windows are up.

By any chance, does your area have an infestation of mistletoe in trees?  It might possibly be a mass of mistletoe hanging overhead.

Thanks for reminding me.  I need to put our mistletoe up when I do our Christmas decorating.  A slow dance and a kiss under the mistletoe keeps US young at heart.

A lot of people on our resident FB page have posted pictures of gigantic wasp nests they had growing in their trees!

@Kachina624  Russian Roulette is right!  I'll have to remind myself not to take that road on a windy day.

As for windows being up, this is New England.  People wear shorts, ride mortorcycles and some diehards will yes, drive a convertible with the top down just about all year long.  It was a balmy 37° when I was out and I only had a sweatshirt on.  The cool air felt great!

@golding76  I have not seen that! I'll be sure to stand under it though if I see it.  Hopefully a fine looking gent might stop and oblige! 😉

@LdyBugz    What's wrong with people there?  It's 62° here in NM (10° above normal) and I'm wearing jeans and a velour shirt.

You should call the state highway department (or other jurisdiction) and suggest they remove that thing.  Email your picture.
