They've been selling many things in twos which I don't understand. I need a new cell phone, a TracFone, but why would I want two? They did themselves out of a sale. This has gone on all week-end. I hope this isn't a growning trend as it doubles the price.
Those are HP Stream devices meaning they are browser-based much like a Chromebook but have the capability to operate with Windows. Basically they are affordable and maintenance free with virus/malware built in. HP Stream is Microsoft's version of Google's Chromebook.
The big advantage of HP Stream is that it can operate w/o the internet as would be needed to use a Chromebook.
I bought that set of two last year at this time and I was sure there had to be something wrong with them but they are great computers. It's a great buy.
Does anyone know if these HP Stream (S mode) devices have an end-of-life update policy like Chromebooks do? In other words, does the Windows S OS just get full then fail to update any further?
