"Shrinkflation" has been going on for years!

 

I worked at a Fortune 100 food company for 30 years.  I remember managers talking about it back in the 80's for our coffee and cereal products.

 

In addition, our price increases were always after other companies did it first, i.e., Kellogg's, Folgers, etc.

 

Nothing new.

Shrinkflation and inflation are the same thing.  There is no appreciable difference.
