Re: Cotton/Poly Sheets Question

I buy only 100% cotton sheets. Poly may be taking over the world but it will never take over my bedroom.

Re: Cotton/Poly Sheets Question

100% cotton for me. I bought a pair of microfiber sheets and was that a big mistake. They were soooo hot. Gave them away.

Re: Cotton/Poly Sheets Question

I recently bought a set of Martha Stewart sheets from Macy's. They're cotton/percale. I love them (and love the pattern on them).

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

gidget, can you be more specific on the particular MS sheets from Macy's that you are talking about? I went to Macy's site and found the MS 360 TC percale sets, but only in solid colors, so I don't know if they are what you are referring to.

TIA

Sure. I'd post a link, but I'm afraid they'll delete it.

It's "Martha Stewart Collection Wild Blossoms 300 Thread Count Sheet Set". I got them in the Coral color. But they're not coral- they look like pink floral to me which is exactly what I wanted.

That should help you find them. If you still can't, I'll post the link for you.

Just checking to see if bigsister saw my reply.

i pretty much only buy microfiber (poly) sheets now.....easy to care for, feels almost like silk, and very few wrinkles on the bed or out of the dryer. hsn has recently had a set of two microfiber sheets at a very low price (2 flat, 2 fitted, 4 pillow cases). they are from their concierge collection.

i would never buy all cotton sheets anymore.

Same here. I've never purchased the HSN microfiber sheets but I have 2 sets and will not buy cotton anymore.

gidget, I'm back; thanks for checking on me. I FOUND THEM on the Macy's site with your additional info. thank you so much.

I do have one more question: Do your MS sheets feel cool on the body and are they lightweight? I have them in my cart at Macy's.

Re: Cotton/Poly Sheets Question

I love them...they are durable, not very expensive, they don't wrinkle much, and they are comfortable...but not so comfortable that I don't get up and go to work in the morning.

I think if I had high thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, I would never leave my bed.

Bigsister, I don't really know how to answer. They just feel like sheets. They don't feel heavy to me. They're a little "crisp" which is what I prefer. They're not heavy so they're not hot- at least to me.
