Justice!  The sentence will be x 3

@Hippiified the sentence could be x3 but it could also be concurrent and not consecutive. All depends on the judge. I live in Philly and work in the legal field. Plus, he's going to appeal so he will probably be free on bail while his appeals are pending. I'm not stating my opinion over his guilt or innocence just stating how the law works in PA.

@DJs mom  Thank you.

@Hippiified you're welcome. Just trying to put some facts out there about our legal system. Each state is different and PA laws are some of the worse on the books.

I'm happy that your cancer patient is cancer free.  That is wonderful news.  I, however, also am happy that justice was served.  Cancer hurts people.  So does rape.  We need to stop people from hurting others whenever we can..... it's good news in my book.

@jubilant I totally agree that rape is a horrible crime.  That's obvious.  What I'm saying even though Mr. Crosby was found guilty and it's nice to see justice.  I haven't really followed the trial at all, but I have noticed in other cases when a person is mentioned for this type of crime, women come out of the woodwork and tell their story months and even years later.  How many are lieing and how many are telling the truth.  I'm sure he's guilty, but I'm also sure that there's women out there that will come forward after a long period of time and accuse that weren't really sexually assaulted.

It was just reported on HLN that he's out on a million dollars bail.  Why???

Because he isn't a threat to the public so he has a right to bail. In PA the only crime that is automatically denied bail is 1st degree murder. The rest is at the judge's discretion. of course attorneys can also appeal the judge's decison on bail.

The best news I heard today!!

@sunala Best news I heard today was that one of my patients is finally cancer free!!!  Now that's good news.  Your news isn't.

@Blingqueen023

It's not good news that a rapist of dozens of women is going to pay for it?

He wasn't convicted of rape.

He was convicted of sexual assault.

Again, is it not good news that he is going to pay for that?

In 2003,  he rode with the wonderful Fred Rogers in the Rose Parade.  Also, the kid whisperer, Art Linkletter.

Here is a pic of him, also 2003,  on a talk show with Sofia Vergera.

I guess there is a video of this on You-Tube.  I didn't watch it - I have had enough of this predator.

In the meantime, life must be fairly miserable for him.

Bill Cosby forever his name tarnished..his achievements in the form of accolades from University stripped away. What boggles my mind is his Wife! Incredible.

@QueenDanceALot no where did I say it wasn't good news that he's going to pay for his crime. In fact I mentioned up thread that I have no opinion whatsoever on his guilt or innocence. I'm just stating the facts from a legal perspective, and that is he wasn't convicted of rape. I'm just stating the truth. There is a difference b/w rape and aggravated indecent assault in the court system.
