It was just reported on HLN that he's out on a million dollars bail.  Why???

Justice!  The sentence will be x 3

@Hippiified the sentence could be x3 but it could also be concurrent and not consecutive. All depends on the judge. I live in Philly and work in the legal field. Plus, he's going to appeal so he will probably be free on bail while his appeals are pending. I'm not stating my opinion over his guilt or innocence just stating how the law works in PA.

I'm happy that your cancer patient is cancer free.  That is wonderful news.  I, however, also am happy that justice was served.  Cancer hurts people.  So does rape.  We need to stop people from hurting others whenever we can..... it's good news in my book.

The best news I heard today!!

@sunala Best news I heard today was that one of my patients is finally cancer free!!!  Now that's good news.  Your news isn't.

@Blingqueen023

It's not good news that a rapist of dozens of women is going to pay for it?

He wasn't convicted of rape.

He'll appeal and he'll remain out on bail until the appeal runs it's course.  He's 80something, legally blind and in poor health.  And rich beyond rich.  He either won't live long enough to go serve his time or he'll serve it under house arrest.  That won't matter to him, he's essentially living under house arrest now.

Oh, maybe it was his lawyer who had the meltdown and called someone an a-hole?

I should pay attention and not try to do a few things at once if I'm going to post what's going on.
