I don't really know how this will work, but maybe if he gives up his passport at the correctional facility then they'll let him go home until sentencing?

I believe that was the civil case and this one is criminal.

@QueenDanceALot, the prosecutor asked for a revocation of bail but the judge denied that.

And, it is correct that Andrea was paid off in a civil suit, not criminal.

 He got what he deserved.I hope he rots in jail!! I personally,however,don’t believe he will make it to jail.I think he will die first.Heart attack or self inflicted.Predators are usually cowards!! Otherwise,his attorney will keep him out of jail pending appeal which can drag on & on!!

I just saw it and it does surprise me.  I expected another hung jury.  I didn't think all 12 jurors would all be able to get past the reasonable doubt thing.

He's not in jail.  I just read that if the judge doesn't lock him up before the appeals start that he may never go to jail.

That other case, The Golden State Killer, another triumph for justice this week, difference is California enacted a law that there is no statute of limitations on rape.  Pennsylvania does not have that.
