I have a set Panasonic which is about 8 years old now and the batteries don't hold a charge long. I also had a Panasonic set before this one. Both had answering machines & were great.

Well I thought I'd stick with Panasonic and got a new set and it's awful. I can hear an echo of my voice when speaking and the phone has a tinny ring. It's difficult to tell a voice msg. was left. This set was returned. I don't think they make the phones like they once did.

I could get new batteries but thought I'd get a new set with newer technology.

Any recommendations??
