I agree with others that her style of teaching is similar to Martha or Ina. Just straight forward giving yoiu measurements as you go along with helpful hints. I hate that most show how the recipe is done without measurements and then you have to go look for the recipe.

Way to go Meredith

I think “Cooking with Meredith” is the perfect name for a new QVC program.

Agree, Meredith was a natural and showed some awesome tip , tricks.  Thanks Q!

Why doesn’t food Network show actual cooking anymore?  I miss it-

I watched several of Meredith's presentations

yesterday.  She is a natural teacher...teaches cooking  skills while demonstrating the recipe steps. No hard sales talk.....loved it!

I have almost stopped watching the food shows on TV.  Why is everything a competition??

I saw her and enjoyed but over and pver on the same thing really got on y nerves so I turn it off. It had nothing to do with her, but the fact the Q could have had more than just a few to play over and over. The parade? Nah, once is enough.

I sent this message from the last living brain cell I have.

@bamasec   Every time I turned it on Meredith was on, I couldn't stop watching her. I'm not a cook either, but I found myself thinking I could make that. I really enjoyed her, her recipes were simple and you didn't have to wait to see the finished product. She was great I thought.

@ Montana  why should she give all the Money to QVC? She does not need QVC.  She could start her own company....have her own show...  on a national network and start selling products with her name on it.  She does not need QVC.... she could become another Martha Stewart and be her own billionaire boss.

I found her last year on Christmas Day.  Why Food Network or some other cooking show hasn't snapped her up is beyond me.  (She could do lessons as well as QVC)  She is absolutely the best "teacher" I've ever watched, and I'm a veteran of Sarah Moulton, Emeril LaGasse, etc. shows for years.

I caught a few of Merdith's cooking segments and all I could think was "she needs a spot on Food Network".  She reminded me of Ina Garten or Martha Stewart w/the soft voices.  Those three prove you don't need to be yelled at to get your point across.  Do not like being shouted at!

I agree with the Martha part, and she is similar to Sara Moulten (aother poster mentioned) IMO Ina is arrogant, and I can't watch her shows.

I'm sorry now that I missed it.  I haven't watched any of the holiday-break programming for a while now, but I would have enjoyed watching her.  I like her style and I think QVC would benefit from having her on more - like maybe even as a host.

One of the best decisions QVC has made in a very long time!  I too watched Meredith's cooking segments off & on throughout the day.  I caught the first one by chance just turning to QVC to see a bit of the parade.  Instead, Meredith was cooking and teaching in such a way as to make it look so wonderfully easy.  It was great.
