Do you get a crown once you reach Exalted status? Lol

Maybe along with a throne and scepter?

(The only throne and scepter I'll ever get looks like this)...

No offense meant to anyone but I doubt if it is quality of posts that moves you up.

I agree that the poster titles should be abolished.  We don't need a caste system on here.  We have enough of that in society as it is.

Actually, I sooooo wish they'd just get rid of those meaningless titles.

I  totally agree.  It's so silly.

Re: Contributor Status

[ Edited ]

It's like everything else in society today.  Everyone is rated (likes, twitter followers, selfies, hits, etc.).

It's become a society of being judged on quantity not quality.

No wonder so many people have mental health issues, suicide is rampant and girls and boys deal with body image issues daily.

It's a society of hate, judging and bullying.

So, if I wrote a few great posts that helped people but I was only on the first rung of the ladder, does that mean I'm not as important here?   Or maybe someone who is on here 24/7 writing posts on the highest rung does nothing but bullies and harasses other posters, but they are exalted to be a "super" contributor.   It's all a game!

I don't consider posting on a chat board as adding to my 'importance'.

I think you're very important, sorry you don't feel that way.

Well, I couldn't tell you what my ranking is because I don't pay attention to such things. It certainly doesn't connote status in my mind.

I'm actually pleased with my relatively low post count.
