Actually, I sooooo wish they'd just get rid of those meaningless titles.

Ranks are used to indicate the number, quality, and impact of your posts. As you spend more time in the community participating, your ranking level will progress.
The Community has a distinct set of ranking ladders which match your natural behavioral tendencies to either collect, contribute, or advise within the threads.

@Miranda1550, Since you asked, I'll list what we think the order is, but to my knowledge the moderators haven't verified this.

The "titles" are based on an unknown (to us) software algorithm of number of posts and, maybe, hearts.   Again, it's never been verfied by the Q Social Team.   They're essentially meaningless, because if any of us choose to start posting quick images and then heart each other we all could have the same title after a short time (not seriously suggesting we do this...  just an example of the way these "rankings" mean nothing).

So .... if I understand the above correctly ....  it's the MODERATORS that decide on the "quality" of our posts?  Does one Mod decide, or do they vote on this?    Do I have this right?

ITA.  It's juvenile.  However, Q isn't about to eliminate something that might be important enough to some posters to bring them here more often; hence, more possible sales.  Everything the Q sets up on-line is geared for the result of increased sales.  That is no secret.

@Tinkrbl44, That quoted text is from another forum.   From what I've seen, that's not what happens here.   There also was an odd "blurb" about the "weight" of hearts on this forum and one of the moderators said those parts of the software aren't used on the Q Community.  It's all meaningless...  and I wish the tech staff would just block the "rankings" so they wouldn't create such a stir.Smiley
