I love Wegmans but the closest one to us is about 40 miles away. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} PA has a lot of Weis and Giant supermarkets.

i shop at giant quite a bit and have for many years.

we seem to have so many choices now in our area. wegmans, the fresh market, trader joes, giant, mars, shoprite, safeway, weis, food lion, costco, bjs, sams club......and i know i am probably missing a few.

Sun, I think that about covers it, except for the Super Walmart in Cockeysville, which is where we go quite often. I find Wegmans to be quite overwhelming for me.

Interesting, since people living in he West don't have them, I don't see how they could come to this conclusion. We had Trader Joe's in Hdsn-Vegasand the only time I have even heard of the others is on these forums.

MM, google Wegmans. Start by looking at their photos, then read about them.

If I lived near a Wegmans, I might not ever cook again.

I don't quite understand how Walmart was rated that way either, the Super ones I go to are quite satisfactory without gouging the pocketbook.

The Bay Area is the foodie capital of the nation and we don't have a Wegmans

All we have for the most part is aging old Safeway and Lucky. Bummer!

I want a Wegmans

The report showed that Trader Joe's and Costco beat them for prices, and that Walmart produce and meat was of a lesser quality.

I hear ya!! I just went to one yesterday when I was out of town.

They also have some great put in the oven to cook and you're done entrees. The convenience in worth the price to me. Plus, it's so darn good.

I'm cooking honey brined turkey breast tomorrow that I got there. Can't wait.

We have a new Publix. We can go online and place a deli order, or plan a luncheon, dinner, parties etc. they have a gourmet cheese and wine section, also flowers. They have an olive bar, hot food bar, and some grab and go meal items. I love shopping there!

Melania2 , now I am jealous! I will pay for convenience too because I don't cook much at all. The turkey breast sounds delicious! Happy Easter!
