Re: Compensated influencers here?

@tansy
Yes

There are plenty of compensated influencers on social media. Nothing wrong with it as long as there is disclosure they are an affiliate. Sometimes you can get a discount code using their link. There are several I use.

Anyone remember the Louis Dell'Olio "cheerleader"?  It irritated me that his followers hung on her every word and were truly influenced by her.

Sorry, but I found that dishonest and must say the only thing it influenced me to do was reassess my opinion of him.

Re: Compensated influencers here?

And sometimes I wonder if there aren't compensated (from somewhere) deinfluencers posting.

Re: Compensated influencers here?

I'm late to the game on this thread, but "duh", you bet I think there is at least one big time influencer posting here.  Unfortunately for her, I'm not interested in what she's selling.

@paixmcdao  She may have but she was at the trip to Puerto Rico as were her sons. That's all I know. Influencers love Tarte and are compensated very well. Just the loads of free products they receive from Amazon, Target, Walmart, hair products, skin care, makeup .....  is mind boggling. Personally I wouldn't want to work that hard or be on social medial all day with my family.

Probably not on this board.  I'm sure there are some in the QVC Facebook group which has over 8 thousand members.  Hundreds of people post everyday.  An influencer needs a lot of  people to influence.

I think that she probably negotiated an executive position with Tarte when she sold it.

@magicmoodz

I guess I am dense as all get out because I have no idea who you are talking about re: LDO.

I read and posted on that forum and my impression was that there were TONS of ladies devoted to the Linea line and we all sort off egged each other on when it came to buying. I have to say that I am glad I purchased so many of his items because they were/are quality items.

As for influencers on Q boards, again I must be missing who they would be or I am just too dim to be influenced.  Lol...which I guess is a good thing.

Absolutely NOT you, John. It’s someone that we haven’t seen post in quite some time. Maybe several years?

The plant-based poster, @bikerbabe?  Sorry, just curious.

@tansy @I think it was a poster that wasn't just plant based but was a proponent of the McDougall Plan or Program. No added vegetable oils are part of this vegan program.  Just my opinion but I found this plan and the followers to be kind of cultish and prone to being preachy.
