Compare old QVC prices to new prices

If you go in your previous purchase history and look at the price,of an item, compare it to the price it sells for now. I was surprised.

Oh I know! It's like that everywhere. Prices are out of control.

It is not just QVC....inflation and rising prices are trending and due to national debt acquisition likely to grow....just a fact of cause and effect.

Increased corporate profits and management compensation of corporations without paying taxes on them are also the cause of rising prices. CEO needs that 4th villa in the South of France with the required yacht.

Re: Compare old QVC prices to new prices

HSN just raised several prices of my wish list items.  QVC is still carrying an office chair I want for over $300 - it's worth less than half that.  I am just not buying unless it's a good deal for me.

Why????  I don't care about what prices WERE, I only care about what prices are now.

Take a good, long hard look at everything around you.

Is grocery prices the same as it was last year?

is gasoline prices the same as it was last year?

NO!

It isn't.

Prices are going up on EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE!

So QVC is hardly alone in raising prices.

Speaking of grocery stores, the local upscale grocery store went through the entire store with all new pricing labels on everything!  Usually when new inventory comes in at a higher cost, the price is adjusted, not anymore, everything went up.

Take your average Dollar Store. You may think you are still getting your

usual box of tissues or generic cereal for a buck but no. The size of the

package has been adjusted. Maybe the tissue box had 160 tissues and

now has 100 or less in it.

I'd say get used to it.  They are not going to reverse the trend anytime soon just saying...Would be nice if they start offering some sort of discount code or something here and there otherwise the drop in purchases will start to add up.  Yes there are those that can afford the higher prices and will continue their purchases, but as they rise more will drop off that either can't, won't  and just reason that they don't need the item that bad enough.
