I am glad that Gooday is well too. I hadn't read about her in a few weeks. Good news.

Yes it is...... By the way, she knows I talk about her on here......and doesn't care if I do it....she did ask me to post for her while she was on the recovery list.......

tansy......just remember, we aren't bullying anyone, talking bad about anyone, being disrespectful to anyone, etc. We are just having a little fun. You have seen this on Mr. Lucky's thread and have even posted on there to us.....so you know what we are about. You know, you could join in with us and have some fun too.

LOL. You'd better check with your friends, ShowMe, but I appreciate your invite. I was concerned about Gooday so I kept a check on the thread.

I know you did, and am sure she appreciated it very much. And we are happy she is back to posting again and getting ready for Arizona........

I'm hoping my new knee will be up to a long car ride to AZ at the beginning of January.

Guess the secret there will be frequent stops and getting out and walking around. Don't let it stiffen up on you. Am sure your therapist or doctor can give you some suggestions on what to do with sitting so long. Don't know where you are located, but about how long of a ride will it be for you????

1600 miles or so. We don't fly down because our dog comes with us. I'm close to Seattle and the Mariners.

That's a long drive, so I would definitely check with the doctor......he can instruct you on what you should do so you won't have any problems.......good luck. Maybe you, your DH, and doggie can go for a nightly walk before turning in for the night.......

Tansy, you missed my reply to you tonite because it is gone. MO...my opinion and #18...post number. Nite. I have been there and done that with the walker. Long, hard journey. Keep us posted. Hadn't heard that you were struggling with that.

Whoops, sorry! I thought this might have been about adding a "Finance" option in the thread menu for women interested in....uh....personal finance, investment options (this isn't 1940; husbands don't control the investments), savings vehicles, retirement, health insurance, etc.

Or, possibly there might have been a change to the Kitchen and Food sub-category of "Coffee Talk" which could be changed to Keurig Talk since there are no fewer than 20 Keurig-related threads there.

Instead, what the PTB took from suggestions was to *sigh* accommodate control freaks and throw a cloak of protection over hosts when certain comments are deemed by someone to be..."unkind." Nothing like encouraging adult women to continue to "run to mommy."

And yet another reason why messageboards that may have been considered at one time to be "men's" because they involve typically men's subjects are attracting more women who realize that the answer to conflict is more discussion, not less.
