Many posters complained when they were poofed right away. They said they wish the Q would leave the thread so everyone could see what was posted and the posters had to ""own"" their word. Just a guess...or can I say JMO?

It's just one of the many questions of VP. Another is why do some people get banned and others don't for similar infractions. Oh well.

I agree. Locking a thread permanently may be a way to show what a poster said, but usually ugly remarks are not owned nor apologized for. Plus it just opens up more area for fighting.

Once it's gone, it's gone. The issue is done and over. I know some like to drag up things from the past, real or imagined, and I mean things from YEARS ago, but basically most of us don't really care.

There are enough things to discuss today; the fights and snarks will never stop, so it's just another day in paradise.
