That is so great that you got that little one in flight! And coming in for a landing!

I have a hummingbird every so often come fly right up to me then zoom around and sometimes hover right near my face. I wonder if he (or she) is thinking there is one of those humans-where is the nectar?!😄

I don't have a hummingbird feeder.

Girl, you kill me, LOL!Heart

You may want to cover your ears and nostrils, so it doesn't mistake them as nectar ports!

DH has this hovering "problem" while he is changing out the feeder.  I'm thinking they smell purfume or even soap on people.

@KingstonsMom,

@depglass,

I was wondering! I wouldn't mind a little hummingbird kiss!🥰

@godi  Love these pictures! We have the same hummingbird feeder. The yellow jackets hate it, but the hummers love it!

Great pix!!! What kind of hummer is that? We only have ruby throats, beautiful iridescent little green jewels.  I'm always so happy when they arrive around Mother's day every year and so sad when they leave. Even though I have to battle with the ants and hornets that steal their nectar.

Love your feeder.

Such a sweet photo!

Several times as I was carrying out a newly cleaned and filled feeder, a humming bird has flown backwards in front of me staring me right in the face.

I think they are very curious little beings.  They seem magical.
