Methamphetamine is increasingly produced in Mexico and is transported over our border; which is against the law.
Anyone have suggestions on how to stop it? I have one, do you?
Yes AMERICANS should just stop using illegal drugs. No one is forcing people to get high. It's a choice people make. Plenty of meth is cooked up right here in the USA. It's not all coming from Mexico. It's big business but that business us FUELED by the USERS.

Um, there are hundreds if not thousands of meth labs in middle America! It's been a problem for quite some time!

There are meth labs in upstate NY. Friends used to live up there and would point out areas where they are found. This was at least fifteen or more years ago.

Wiki.
Before the late 2000s, much of the methamphetamine consumed in the US was manufactured domestically by amateur chemists in meth labs. They manufactured it from common household drugs and chemicals such as lye, lithium, and ammonia.
But after the Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act of 2005 went into effect in 2006, the D E A reported a sharp decline in domestic meth production and consumption.
As a result, the amount of methamphetamine seized, the amount of domestic drug labs shut down, and the number of associated deaths and emergency room visits also declined.
However, since then, drug cartels have become the dominant producer of methamphetamine consumed in the US.
They manufacture the product in clandestine facilities
in Mexico and smuggle it across the border into the country.
Deaths linked to methamphetamine overdoses quadrupled between 2011 and 2017. As of 2020, there are nine cartels involved in this process, with the Sinola Cartel being the dominant and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel coming in second...

Meth has been around for quite sometime, just like a few other posters have mentioned, I can't buy coricidin without showing my license because of meth addicts!
Mexico is not to blame for this continuing problem. Foxxe and morning lover, please stop stirring this burnt up pot because there are home grown meth addicts making their own poison!!!!!!!

@JaneMarple Why do you continually blame the U.S. for all the drugs. Everyone knows the open border is causing most of the drug use and deaths from this poison.
