I just told my DD I am not flying to see them next week, snow maybe on Monday.  Last winter had two flight problems with weather.☹️

I'm thinking we're the only ones that know about this polar vortex. I've searched high and low on various weather sites and no one is reporting anything near what's been talked about here. Bummer.

Meteorologists here have been talking about it for the last 10 days.

I'm in the upper middle of the country. We got a little snow and ice last night. We are expecting more snow and temps of 12 to 18 degrees the rest of the week.

That's still fairly warm for my part of the country at this time of year.

Looks like a cold season for many.  

It's cold here where I live (S. CA) and  I cannot imagne what others will go through.

It just seems to me the first week of January was almost always at least 1-2 days spelled ICE.  From there till spring, it can be all downhill.  We'll see........it varies.
