Cleaning tables counters etc

What do you use to clean/wipe countertops with.

I use Dawn and water.

Then I use a Granite cleaner on the countertops to polish them up.  My counters are very dark, so streaks, fingerprints  and water spots show up.

Harsh chemicals ruin wood tables and stone counters.

Most days I just use diluted white vinegar and water.  If I'm doing a thorough cleaning of each counter-top I'll use either Lysol or Clorox wipes.

I have granite countertops.  When we bought the granite, we were told that to clean and disinfect, the best thing to use is the yellow Windex.  It is a multi-surface, anti-bacterial cleaner.

That is all I use on my countertops for cleaning.

After food prep if "meats" on the counter then disinfectant.  Anything else is vinegar and water.  The table after a meal?  Just wipe with a sponge.  We're not messy at the table.

Wear a mask. Social distance. Be part of the solution - not part of the problem.

Re: Cleaning tables counters etc

I've always just used soap and water on my granite.  Sometimes a squirt of dishwashing liquid on the wet cloth, sometimes a squirt of the hand soap.
