Generally I start the day after Thanksgiving with some stuff but whether I put the tree up that weekend depends on my mood. LOL I like it all done while I have the long weekend off.

I am another who takes it down well before New Years' Day, usually somewhere on the 26th, 27th or 28th. I hate to have the decorations up when the new year comes and I really don't want to go back to work after new years and come home to the decorations.

I remember well a post from Aunt Bertie saying "nothing is as over as Christmas." That is how I feel.
