so, the online site is polishkitchenonline ( think I got that right?)
I'm on the email list. I'd love to get these:
But at $29/each, I've been holding off! Even with a 20% discount...how often would they get used? But they are on my wish list.
Is that for corn on the cob? Anyway, it looks like it would make a nice cracker server.

My piece actually says "Ceramica de Coimbra" n the bottom and ther IS a rough (unfired?0 ring around the bottom...
Anyone...? anyone?
Hi again
That makes me think it is stoneware, which should be OK in an oven up to 350. But I still think it's a good idea to find a store selling it and calling to double check. There should be several listed online.

With Polish stoneware, Gloria always suggested lowering the oven temp a little because it holds heat so well.

An even better idea, Free!

I could see lots of uses!
in a drawer, as a holder for straws or chopsticks
as a butter dish, with room for a knife to be stored too
a storage holder for sponges and bar soap or a scrubbie
holder for small packets (sugar, stevia, cocoa)
tea bag storage for the teas you drink most often
kebabs
taco holders while you assemble your toppings (or you could bake the shells inside for crisp shells)
Those are great ideas!

Good ideas on alternate uses for the corn-on-the-cob dishes. I came up with one myself: It would be a great burrito/enchilada dish!
But I'm still not sure I should spend $29/piece for them. I'm weakening. I received a nice AmEx gift card yesterday...may splurge on a set of these.

I put up a new line about PS this morning, and information about Lidia. Did anyone see it?
It seems the moderators took it down because of all the information on it, or was there some totally different problem with it?
