Re: Check Book Cover

Vera Bradley. I like the cute patterns. Usually from ebay, new with tags and cheaper prices.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Have you tried an office supply store?

Either a chain like OfficeMax or a local store?

Or maybe another type of store with a office supply section, maybe like a Hallmark shop or a bookstore.

That's got to be frustrating, covers used to be supplied with every check order.

Funny you bring this up....I have been looking for a checkbook cover. I have a leather one that is just beginning to wear after having it for probably 30 years. It has a small foldover snap which keeps it closed. Cannot seem to find one with that feature. I am looking at one at Leatherology, but it has no closure.

@ScrapHappy   I would guess you would do well on e-bay.  People don't write many checks now, and most people I know don't carry checks with them.  So maybe they have a good selection of covers.

Mine are leather, Vera Bradley or Bank freebies, but they are in the drawer and I'll bet I don't write a check a month now.

I don't write many checks either.  I keep my checkbook at home.  My husband writes most of the bills and does pay by check, his preference.  He does not like to pay bills on line or have it automatically taken out.

Yes, tried the office supply store.  We do receive new checks, when ordered, but never a cover replacement.

There is a wide selection of cover designs and types (fabric, leather, vinyl, etc) on this site. I have my personal checks printed from them(less exopensive than the bankprinting and way more custonmizing and design choices. It is a reliable source and ships quickly.  ON the main page there is a pull-down menu with 6 pages just for checkbook covers! They seem to run about $20 each.

Perhaps it can be helpful to you.

Long ago when I used checks, I had a nice leather one.  It was a pleasure to handle.

Can you check around?  Something nice for everyday.

@ScrapHappy  I had trouble finding a nice leather checkbook cover also.

I don't write very many checks anymore.  I pay most of my bills online.

However, I do write a check occasionally.

I found a nice leather Coach checkbook cover on Ebay.
