Whatever I use on my lips I want some kind of SPF protection. Knowing someone who has cancer on her lips removed any doubt that even the mouth needs protection.

@esmereldaI avoid chemical sunscreens - is  there  a lip balm with zinc & /or titanium dioxide only?

@Ibby114  Sorry...I have no idea.  There are people here smarter than I am about this.  Maybe one of them will answer.

I used Chapstick for years and then stuff from Avon. I have since used many different lip balms and the best so far IMO is Skinn's lip balm. I wish he would make it in a tube though. Petrolatum gets a bad wrap, just like parabens. I remember when my cousin and I were kids, we actually ate Vicks Vapo rub when we got a cold and sore throat. We are still alive and kicking.

@blackhole99  I ate a moth ball when I was a kid, and I also drank some liquid laundry detergent.  Would not recommend.

Petrolatum gets a bad wrap because it ends up making your lips drier!

I've used Rosebud Salve for years. Excellent hydration and no rebound dry out effect
