And how can you expect the rest of us to remember?  I can't remember if I bought carrots yesterday.  Woman Frustrated

well for starters, it says formerly fairydogmother at the bottom of my posts. So no, I don't expect you to remember. As for my rationale, I guess that will remain a big mystery to you even though I took the trouble to explain it.

@smoochy

I didn't think about asking who you were.

Good to know!

Without hesitation, change your nick to whatever you want - and for whatever reason you want, & when ever you want.  imho

My gosh, you're not fire branded with a nick on your lovely butt!.  Woman Wink  (to my knowledge anyway  rofl)

It was a very nice courtesy of you to append your msgs with your former nick, for however long you want to do that.  Up to you.

I have the "memory of a kitchen sieve," meaning awful memory!  But that is MY problem, & I own it, not your problem.

  So I own it. It's my sieve memory, unfortunately  *w*   So, as not to inconvience someone with something they have a perfect right to do or have, I just try to find other ways to remember someone's nick,  for instance, (if I care).  Woman Very Happy

Re: Changing user name

[ Edited ]

I have had the same user name since before I started posting here in 2007.  When we got AOL instant messaging here at the office back in 1997 I became beckyb1012, the numbers represent the office suite number and I am still here.  Cannot imagine not using it even after I walk out the door the last time.
