Canceled my HS N card. Got tired of them putting several purchases in one box and charging shipping all all items. Plus I was just buying stuff I didn’t need   I love Jay King

and will continue to watch Hsn

Like QVC too but just need to think more about my purchases. Does this make sense.

Re: Changing spending habits

QVC does the same thing sometimes.  There was a thread just the other day about someone unhappy with the fact that QVC sometimes puts several packages in one box, but charges shipping on each individual item.

Re: Changing spending habits

I am tired of that as well plus the expense of returning has gotten out of control.  I do buy things I dont need and need to stop so I have been watching less of all shopping channels and thinking twice about ordering anything. The things I order most are skin care/makeup products when they have a great sale with free SH!!

Re: Changing spending habits

I went on a spending diet at the end of last year, and except for a few food items we love from here, which I consider the same as getting groceries, I've only ordered the Slatkin TSV the other day.

I'm sick of how much I'm spending on shipping on sites like these. It can be hundreds of dollars a year if you buy a lot.

I woke up one day and realized I had more things than I need and have spent the winter selling off and giving things away.

Don't regret the reduced spending one bit. I still see things 'I want', but not bad enough to order, pay the shipping, and find a place to put it!

It sounds like you spending was out of hand.  So, yes.   That makes sense.

Re: Changing spending habits

I used to love to watch QVC and bought a lot more than I do now.  However, now a days I find watching QVC to be so repetitive that it has become dull and I never watch more than a few min. So rare for them to present anything new. I mostly just flip to QVC during commercials.

Re: Changing spending habits

I buy a fraction of what I used to, I was just ordering to order because I was watching and I can. Now I just buy to replace something or beauty products I use on a regular basis. I have enough clothes for 10 women, so no more clothes or shoes.
