This is the post the Q poofed, then banned me from the community for eight hours for and now it's posted!!!!! Is this normal??? I've very comfused!?!
It could be that they reconsidered your deleted post, especially after your talks with CS about being banned for it.
I've seen that happen a couple of times and may be why you're 'un-banned' now and your deleted post has reappeared.
Personally, I see nothing poof-worthy, unless Q sells 'Cecil' shirts! LOL!

Now it turns out that Jericho wasn't killed. In that case, maybe Cecil's kits will be okay.

Yes, all that is discussed on separate Jericho threads. In fact, I posted an updated story from TMZ about an hour ago on the Jericho is Alive thread in this forum.

That is the sad part, animals on reserves trust humans because there are many people who go on photo safaris and love these animals and they are accustomed to seeing us. They come very close to you....I would like to think that there are more of us who love these magnificent animals than those who illegally track and kill them.

Sorry about that. There were so many Cecil threads a couple days ago, and now this is the only one I saw. I thought the others had been deleted by the Moderator. Seems like Cecil was more famous than Clarence the Cross Eyed Lion.

I got to see this on Saturday! It was amazing beautiful and important for making everyone aware of the endangered species in the world. If you haven't seen a clip, I'm sure there are many on you tube as everyone was recording it with their phones.
in addition, instead of buying Cecil tee shirts or other paraphernalia from profiteers, maybe one should look at the bigger picture and make contibutions to the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) or similar organizations who are fighting to protect these endangered species.

Cecil is now an official Beanie Baby! Its very cute and 100% of the proceeds go to the "Wildlife Conservation Research Project".

good for delta airlines
"Delta Air Lines DAL, +1.36% the biggest U.S. airline by volume, said on Monday it will no longer allow hunting trophies as baggage if they are from endangered species. The ban extends to all lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo trophies worldwide, and the airline will review all its other policies of carriage of other hunting trophies “with appropriate government agencies and other organizations supporting legal shipments.”"
